Woman stabbed in Hungry Jack’s car park on Heatherdale Rd, Ringwood







A WOMAN has been stabbed several times to the upper body during an armed street robbery in Ringwood this morning.
The woman, 28, was attacked in the car park of Hungry Jack’s on Heatherdale Rd at about 9.30am.
She was sitting in the driver’s seat about to start the car when a woman jumped into the front passenger seat and ordered her to drive.
The driver tried to push the intruder out of the car and as a result, was stabbed several times to the upper body.
The would-be robber then fled and is believed to have run south along Heatherdale Rd.
The victim received minor injuries and did not require hospital or paramedic treatment.
Maroondah crime investigation unit is appealing for anyone who saw the incident or has information about the identity of the offender to come forward.
She is described as being aged in her mid-30s and about 160cm with dark skin.
She was wearing a navy blue hooded jumper at the time of the incident.
