A FEMME fatale convinced two men under her spell to murder her former partner, the Supreme Court has heard.
The trial of Torsten Trabert and John Anthony Ryan began today over the murder of Hawthorn gym owner Wayne Amey, an alleged contract killing organised by his former lover Robyn Lindholm.
Prosecutor Gavin Silbert SC told the jury Lindholm was a "femme fatale" who controlled men and had been involved in an intense drug-fuelled sexual relationship with Trabert.
"Mr Trabert was infatuated with her. He left his wife and children," Mr Silbert said. "He was involved in an intense sexual relationship with her."

Amey and Lindholm were involved in an acrimonious break-up and were due in court the day after the alleged murder to settle a dispute over a farm in Bittern they jointly owned.
The dispute was the driving force behind the murder, Mr Silbert said. Neither Ryan or Trabert knew Amey well but agreed to get involved in the "contract killing" because they were under the influence of Lindholm, Mr Silbert said.
"Both the accused Ryan and Trabert were infatuated with her and under her spell. She had an uncanny ability to manipulate men as you will hear and was able to get them pretty well to do whatever much she sought," Mr Silbert said.

Mr Amey was kidnapped from his Hawthorn flat and bundled in to car boot and then driven to country Victoria on December 10 2013.
The prosecutions say he was beaten with a baseball bat and then stabbed four times before his body was stuffed between two boulders in an isolated spot at Mount Korong north of Bendigo.
Mr Silbert said Trabert had allegedly written account of what happened to Amey while on remand and handed it to another prisoner.
"Trabert told him that he had taken drugs prior to committing the murder in order to be like a Superman," Mr Silbert said.
Both Ryan and Trabert say they did not kill Mr Amey.
The trial before Justice Lex Lasry continues.
