An elderly Melbourne man died after being pushed during a car park road rage dispute.

Man dies following Burwood East car park incident

A 72-year-old man has died after an altercation following a minor collision in Burwood East this morning.

The collision occurred in a Lakeside Drive car park around 9.30am.

The two men then spoke, and the man allegedly became aggressive towards the second driver, a 40-year-old man.

It’s believed the second man has pushed the older man to the chest and then went into a nearby building.

When the 40-year-old returned to his car shortly afterwards he found the other older man on the ground.

Emergency services attended but were unable to revive the man.

Local detectives are investigating and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
