Today, September 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day. Suicide is the leading cause of death in men and women under the age of 45 in Australia. For every suicide, there are tragic ripple effects for friends, families, colleagues and the broader community. The theme this year is 'One World Connected', reflecting the importance that reaching out and forming connections can have in reducing suicide risk.
