There were 305 people killed on the Melbourne train network between 2006 and 2013, 

with 51 identified as unintentional.

Caller Doug couldn't believe his eyes when, while stopped at the Chandler Road train crossing at Noble Park, he saw a young person hanging from the back of the train.
"I was shocked," Doug told Neil Mitchell.
"It was travelling about 80km/h."

"Kids take risks, but this is just ridiculous," Neil Mitchell said.
"It's not mere risk-taking, it's life-threatening."
